Records Fall as Leopards Take 7th Girls & Boys & 8th Girls Championships

4 Records fell last night at the Bentonville West Track meet. Bree Anglin broke 2 records. The 100 meter dash record with a time of 13.11 breaking the old mark of 13.19 set in 2009. Then Bree doubled up on the 200 meter record with a time of 27.10 breaking the old mark set in 2011 of 27.21. Emi Thurston broke the Triple Jump record with a jump of 33' 9.5" beating the old mark of 33' set in 2012. JT Tomescko broke the Boys Long Jump record with a jump of 18' 4.75" breaking the old mark of 18' 3" set in 2017. Michael Long also tied the Pole Vault Record now held by three at 9'. The 7th Grade Boys & Girls along with the 8th Grade Girls brought home the 1st place hardware as the 8th Grade Boys placed 2nd. Emi Thurston was also the Girls High Point Award winner for the 2nd straight meet.
